Membership Information
The BPW of Abbotfsord links business and professional women
across Canada to provide support for, and recognition of their
achievements,
and to work toward equality of opportunity
and economic security for all women.
|
The club members are multi-generational with a variety of interests. Members of BPW come from all occupations: business, professional, administrative, entrepreneurial, and trades. They work in service, industry, non-profit and government sectors. New members are always welcome!
Opportunities to:
•Promote your business through the members' directory and through a 2-minute presentation
of your business at a public meeting.
•Form friendships and network with women who are involved in the community.
•Expand knowledge of issues affecting women.
•Develop leadership capabilities and self-confidence to aid in career advancement.
•Participate in improving the status of women.
•Associate with members of other BPW organization in Canada internationally.
•Participate in personal development modules to enhance career skills.
Membership fees are $75.00 due annually on May 31st, with a special subsidized fee of $50.00 for new members. Part of the fee is remitted to the provincial organization and to the national and international federations.
